Crocodile was the main antagonist of the Alabasta Saga, while Doflamingo was the antagonist of the Dressrosa arc. The two are quite different, but their fan following within the One Piece fandom is similar. Both of them are authoritative figures who carry a secret that is unknown to everyone else.

In terms of power and abilities, both of them have eaten Devil Fruits, but Crocodile has a logia-type and Doflamingo has a paramecia-type, which makes Crocodile a little stronger in terms of Devil Fruit power. But in terms of Haki, Doflamingo takes the lead as he has all three kinds of Haki, but Crocodile only has Armament and Observation.
