The Jujutsu Kaisen Character Gege Akutami Considered Strong Savagely Called Out the Entire Problematic Anime & Manga Industry

The moment JJK fans have been waiting for is here: Sukuna’s reign of terror has finally come to an end. JJK Chapter 268, showcased the King of Curses finally experiencing the sting of defeat and dying at the hands of Yuji Itadori. With only a few chapters left before the manga’s conclusion, Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has taken the entire internet by storm.

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoiler Ahead of Jujutsu Kaisen Manga!!

Since the start of Culling Games Arc, Gege Akutami has showcased the King of Curses as an opponent of unmatched strength. During the final stages, Akutami introduced several powerful sorcerers who seemed to match the King of Curses’ immense strength but ultimately failed. Surprisingly, Gege Akutami concluded Sukuna’s long-anticipated end in a single chapter, leaving many fans bitterly disappointed.

Regardless, Sukuna vs Gojo was one of the most anticipated fights, resulting in the victory of the King of Curses and leaving many fans severely traumatized by Gojo’s death.

Interestingly, Gege Akutami addressed a major anime-manga industry issue by introducing a special character who even surprised the likes of Gojo and Sukuna. This sorcerer’s immense strength and popularity are a notable departure from the norm in the manga world.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Character That Defied the Manga Industry Standard

From breathtaking animation quality to splendid narrative, Jujutsu Kaisen left a long-lasting impression on the audience. Apart from its engaging plot, Gege Akutami introduced several compelling characters, that captivated several fans with the series. Since the start of Season 1, Gojo Satoru always held the spotlight in Jujutsu Kaisen as the strongest sorcerer.

He instantly emerged as a crowd favorite thanks to his comedy and cocky personality traits. Until the Shibuya Incident, fans were so confident in Gojo’s strength that they never expected his opponents to triumph victory over the Six Eye User. However, there’s only one lone sorcerer who survived Gojo’s deadly attacks and lived to see another day, except Sukuna.

Miguel Oduol is one of the few Curse Users who exist outside of Japan, making his time in the series quite brief but very memorable for many readers. He was first in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie and the prequel chapters of the manga. However, Miguel’s notable feats during his showdown against Gojo Satoru won many fans over with his character.

Miguel easily survived Gojo’s several deadly attacks, even though the Six Eyes user wasn’t holding back. While exchanging fists with Sukuna, Gojo addressed Miguel’s terrifying physical abilities to Yuta. He reveals that 99% of Jujutsu sorcerers who are Japanese usually strengthen themselves with the help of Curse Energy.

However, Miguel’s rare skeletal structure and muscles serve as a significant threat to Japanese sorcerers. Upon hearing Gojo’s statement, Miguel feels offended and accuses him of being a racist.

Later, as Gojo apologizes and Miguel brushes it off, the scene turns into a source of amusement and laughter for many fans. Through this small detail, Gege Akutami managed to escape the unfortunate fate of the controversial manga industry norm. Many popular manga continue to feature Japanese characters more prominently while sidelining others. However, JJK‘s author effectively addressed this issue with Miguel’s character.

Gege Akutami’s Plans for the Jujutsu Kaisen Finale Have Fans Speculating

During the Heian Era, Sukuna was the most feared sorcerer, known for killing many for amusement and spreading terror for centuries. Fast forward to Chapter 268, Yuji triumphs over the King of Curses.
