According to the theory, the world of Hunter x Hunter is actually set inside a living, breathing being that is so giant that it can fit Gon’s world inside it in. The giant being is specified to be a whale. The X user who uploaded the theory observed that Yoshihiro Togashi loves to tie a resemblance between two images, like Genthru’s nen ability, Little Flower, established a connection between flowers and explosions.

The theorist also explained that rather than being a power system, Nen could be a law of the universe that makes one’s entire being. Thus, Nen might be able to create weather, gravity, and other elements that make up the known reality.

The Black Whale, transporting people to a bigger whale while housing people, seems like a microcosm of the world. The whale consisted of a separation between different castes of people, who were separated by levels of society.

It is possible that by the end of the series, the big reveal of the world being inside a giant living creature is made.
