Gachiakuta episode 7 wastes absolutely no time and delves straight into action. The introduction is finally over, and the antagonists are getting introduced one after another. The latest episode introduced an ally of Jabber, Cthoni, and a hint at the boss of the Raiders.
Zanka stole the show once again with battle tactics that only he could have come up with. The Cleaners coming to the rescue of their team was an epic scene, which was immediately followed by Jabber declaring how it turned him on.

If Gachiakuta episode 7 could be summarized in a single word, it would be a ‘blast’. The episode did not shy away from action, and one can’t help but appreciate the animation by Bones Films. Each and every scene felt like an accurate adaptation of manga panels, and in Gachiakuta’s context, it is a worthy praise.
The gritty artstyle of the manga is perfectly captured in the scenes focusing on Jabber and Rudo’s fights. The scene in which Zanka dropped in just to drop a nefarious plan of using Rudo’s powers was hilarious. He was probably going to be satisfied even if he just got to hit Rudo, which goes extremely well with his character.
Once the plan succeeded, Zanka’s excitement urged the audience to get along in the fun exercise. It was comical to see Zanka trying to hit Rudo with full hostility as the latter got more and more frustrated with his team member. Nonetheless, the strategy worked, that is, until Jabber woke up and reminded them what crazy actually meant. One can’t help but think that Rudo was probably right about the villain being a masochist.
Jabber Manages to Hilariously Weird Out Every Single Cleaner
At first, it was just Rudo who thought Jabber was weird. However, the antagonist exceeded everyone’s expectations. Not only did he render himself unconscious to fight without any hostility, but he could also fight on pure instinct. It almost feels close to the character of Zenitsu from Demon Slayer, whose dissociated self, triggered by fear, makes his body move instinctively to protect itself.
The show does not end here, as Jabber also reveals that he uses his poisons on himself for more than one reason. He also uses his claws to take away his pain. The crazy character seems to have no regard for his life, and at the same time, is too obsessed with defeating everyone against his mission.
As soon as he was able to secure Rudo and meet the Cleaners, he wasn’t scared in the slightest. Instead, he got so excited about fighting them that the Cleaners themselves ended up feeling uncomfortable, creating another priceless scene. The unhinged villain completely undercut the danger posed by the Cleaners.
The anime made it clear that Jabber would return again, but after episode 7 being such a rewarding experience, fans might be looking forward to seeing him again. What did you think about Gachiakuta episode 7? Did you find it exciting enough? Let us know in the comments below.
